You can name them, give them a thumbnail, and create as many projects as you want there is no limit. Projects, in the context of the data panel in Fusion 360, are top level folders that can contain sub- folders, documents, images, pdfs, spreadsheets, etc. Let’s begin by looking at the data panel. We all work in Fusion 360 differently, so when talking about the 10 document limit, it’s important to understand what we mean by “projects” and “documents”. Please see the original announcement blog post for more details. It is scheduled to go live in January 2021. NOTE: This change has not happened yet – it is still work-in-progress. We also want to be transparent with you, so through this, we hope that we can provide you with some clarity around what to expect when the change happens early next year. We’re seeing lots of speculation, confusion, and mis-interpretation of what the experience may be, so we want to take this opportunity to show you our work-in-progress. I also needed support at one point for an error message, I posted a query on the F360 forum and got an official and thorough Autodesk solution nearly immediately, so that was a real selling point for me-support for issues quickly and completely.Since our recent announcement around the changes to Fusion 360 for personal use, one of the topics that we’ve heard come up over and over is how might the 10 document limit work. Having my designs and all related files (PDFs, images, docs) embedded with each project group and synced (successfully!) on the cloud is simply amazing. Having tried Rhino, Solidworks, and OnShape, I have found F360 to be the most fully functional and intuitive to use. I am using it to interface with architects and clients, who also use Revit, so anything I make in F360 plugs straight in. The desktop app is fully functional CAD CAM tool, that I learned to use in about 2 weeks using the Autodesk learning videos. The iOS app has been a great tool to present projects in my iPad to clients. They are both great, the iOS app being a simple viewer only, where you can make markups in pen, but can't edit the design fully, you do this via the desktop. This is a review for both the desktop and mobile app for Fusion360. + Camera: Take pictures such as drawings with appįusion 360 will still function even if a user does not give permissions to access these functions. + Photos: Access files or data stored on your device to view, share and markup + Storage: Store offline data if needed, so you can view your data anywhere, anytime ![]() Search for parts in the model and see them automatically highlighted in the design.Share screenshots of the design with markups directly from the app.Share with stakeholders inside and outside your company. ![]() Upload photos to share info or report project status.Navigate by touch with zoom, pan, and rotate. ![]()
